A fast, personal first reply
Someone who fills in your form gets an answer to what they actually asked, within minutes, while they are still thinking about you.
When someone fills in a form on your website, Lead Follow-up writes a reply to what they asked and sends it in your business's name. If you have not heard back, it follows up on day 2 and day 5. You approve every email before it is sent.
Maria asked on your contact form Do you install tankless water heaters? Could someone come out this week?
Hi Maria,
Thanks for getting in touch with Joe's Plumbing. Yes, we install tankless water heaters, and we can talk through which size suits your home.
We'll confirm a time this week once we have checked the schedule. Is there a day that works best for you?
Nothing is sent until you approve it.
Lead Follow-up does the part that slips on a busy week: the first reply, and the polite nudge after it.
Someone who fills in your form gets an answer to what they actually asked, within minutes, while they are still thinking about you.
No more writing the same first reply after a long day. The agent drafts it and you decide whether it goes.
If you have not marked the lead replied or booked, it sends a short follow-up on day 2 and again on day 5.
When Lead Follow-up is on, it takes the place of your form's basic auto-reply, so a lead never gets two emails from you.
Confirm the sender name (your business name) and the email where replies should go. On a WorkspaceCMS website that is the whole setup. On any other website, you paste your lead form in first (see below).
Within minutes of a form fill, it writes a reply to what the person asked, using what your own website says about your business.
You get the draft in an approval email. Change any word you like, then send it and it goes out in your business's name. Replies land in your own inbox.
Lead Follow-up answers the people who fill in your WorkspaceCMS lead form. How that form gets onto your site depends on what your site runs on.
Nothing to install. Your contact and quote forms are already lead forms, so you turn the agent on from the Agents page in your dashboard and it starts with the next form fill.
Turn it on in your dashboard →Lead Follow-up comes with a Connect plan, from $149 a month. You keep your website. The setup wizard builds your lead form and gives you one piece of code to paste where your contact form goes: the form, plus a short script that sizes it to fit and records which page each lead came from.
Your leads then live in your WorkspaceCMS dashboard. The agent replies to leads from this form, not from the contact form or CRM you use today.
The wizard shows the exact menu names for Shopify, BigCommerce, WordPress and Magento, and a preview of your form before you paste it. Stuck? We will add it for you.
Name, email, phone and a message box, ready to go. Change any question in your dashboard.
The form, plus a short script that sizes it to fit and records which page each lead came from.
Into an HTML, Custom code or Embed block. On Shopify it is a Custom Liquid section.
Every form fill is kept in WorkspaceCMS, and Lead Follow-up drafts a reply for you to approve.
Nobody wants a reminder about a job that is already booked. The follow-ups on day 2 and day 5 only go out while the lead is still waiting to hear from you.
Reply sent to Maria a few minutes after her form.
No answer yet, so a short follow-up goes out.
Maria replies: “Thursday morning works.”
Second follow-up cancelled. She already replied.
An agent writes the email. You decide whether it goes. Nothing reaches a customer until you say so, unless you choose to let that agent send on its own.
Priced per email in AI credits, shown before you turn it on.
Each email an agent writes uses AI credits from your account's existing balance. The agent's card shows the cost per email before you switch it on, and you set a monthly cap so it can never use more than you planned.
Your business name, for example Joe's Plumbing, sent from our sending address. When the lead replies, the reply goes straight to the email you chose when you turned the agent on, so the conversation continues in your own inbox.
No. It writes from what your website says about your business. It does not invent prices, availability or promises, and when it is not sure of something it says we'll confirm, so you can answer that part yourself.
Only if you want to, and that is how it starts. Ask me first is the default, and each follow-up asks too. Before you send, you can edit the subject and the message, so it goes out exactly as you want it. Switch to Send automatically when you are happy with what it writes.
Yes, if you want it to. Add your booking page link on the agent's card, and every email, the first reply and both follow-ups, carries a Pick a time button. If your AI Receptionist already has a booking link, or you connected Calendly or Zoom Scheduler, you can fill it in with one tap. With no link, the emails ask the lead for a good time to talk.
When you mark the lead replied or booked, when the lead unsubscribes, or when the lead fills in your form again. Without any of those, it sends one follow-up on day 2 and one on day 5.
No. While Lead Follow-up is on, it replaces your form's basic auto-reply.
On a WorkspaceCMS website it is included on Growth, Premium and Ultra. Essentials does not include it. Priced per email in AI credits, shown before you turn it on. Each email uses AI credits from your account's existing balance. You set a monthly cap, and when the agent reaches it, it pauses and tells you. The run log shows what every run cost. On any other website, Lead Follow-up comes with a Connect plan, from $149 a month.
No. Lead Follow-up sends email only.
On a WorkspaceCMS website, nothing. It works with the forms already on your site. On Shopify, WordPress, Wix or any other website, the agent can only reply to forms it receives, so you add your lead form to your site. The setup wizard gives you one piece of code to copy, with the steps for your platform, and shows a preview of the form first.
Not with that form. Lead Follow-up replies to leads from your WorkspaceCMS lead form, so on another website you paste our form in where your old one was. Every lead also lands in your dashboard.
Both live in your WorkspaceCMS dashboard. The form on your site is ours, so you change its questions, button and thank-you message in the dashboard, and every message sent through it is stored there with the page it came from and what the agent sent. You keep your own website. You do not need to move anything else to WorkspaceCMS.
To your inbox, yes: every new lead also arrives as an email, and you can add any other address to it. If your CRM can take in leads by email, add its address there. There is no direct CRM connection or webhook today, so your leads are kept in your WorkspaceCMS dashboard rather than synced into another system.
No. The emails are sent from our sending address under your business name, so there is nothing to set up on your domain. Replies go to the email you choose when you turn the agent on.
Yes. If you get stuck pasting the code, email hello@workspacecms.ai and we will add it for you.

On WorkspaceCMS, switch it on from the Agents page in your dashboard. On any other website, start a Connect plan and the setup wizard walks you through adding your lead form.
